Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly? Sitting in a commercial aircraft really gives you a very poor idea of the incredible thrill of flying a real light aircraft.
At Leicester Airport you can choose from a wide range of flights to find out for yourself what it’s like to fly your very own plane.
2 Seat Aircraft:
A chance to fly the circuit pattern at Leicester.
An introductory flying lesson offers a 20 minute taster to give you a feel for the experience.
The fly away flying lesson is a cross-country flight over a 40 minute period.
4 Seat Aircraft:
The family affair flying lesson means you can bring two friends on a 20 minute lesson.
For you and two friends on a 40 minute lesson.
The Round Robin Trial Lesson is for up to 3 people during which you will be able to land at 2 different airports as well as Leicester. During the flights each student will take a turn in the ‘pilot’ seat and will be able to handle the controls.
An opportunity to fly your friends or family then return to the club house restaurant and enjoy a bottle of champagne and truffles.
After a full pre-flight brief and video you will fly King Richard’s final battle route from The Blue Boar Inn in Leicester via Bow Bridge and out to Bosworth along the Old Roman Road.
